Video Mapping — Kish Island
OVERVIEW
HiT Land was commissioned to design and execute a large-scale 3D video mapping show for the Kish Days Festival. The project aimed to celebrate the cultural significance of Kish Island by transforming its architectural facades into a dynamic storytelling canvas. Our team focused on creating an immersive experience that would serve as the festival's visual centerpiece, attracting both local residents and international tourists. The production required a seamless integration of 3D animation and motion graphics, tailored specifically to the unique geometry of the projection surface. By leveraging high-end projection technology and creative narrative techniques, we turned a static structure into a living piece of art that narrated the island's journey and future aspirations.

Diagnosing the friction points.
The main challenge was to create high-contrast, visible content that could perform effectively in an outdoor festival environment. We needed to ensure that the 3D illusions were perspective-accurate for a large, moving crowd while maintaining a narrative that was both engaging for families and sophisticated enough for a major cultural event.
Engineering the solution.
Our 3D Video Mapping and Media departments collaborated to develop a custom visual script. We utilized advanced 3D modeling to map the building's architecture precisely, allowing for 'forced perspective' effects that made the structure appear to crumble, rebuild, and transform. The use of vibrant motion graphics and synchronized audio ensured a multi-sensory experience that maximized the impact of the advertisement and festival branding.
